My Philosophy on Energy Management

I believe that as human beings we are made of energy and are interconnected with the environment around us. And as humans, we are nature - we are composed of all the same root elements. Therefore, our lives move like nature and face similar rhythms of life and the constant change.

Energy management is moving with the ebb and flows of our environment and making sure that we are moving as best as we can within our environment and, at the same time, have the ability to also direct our lives even in tough times.

One of the biggest ideas out of Energy Management that I want for my client (and everyone else) is this: BUILD IN REST. Whether that’s in your daily activities, weekly activities, monthly schedules, annual schedules, etc. I want you to intentionally build it in.

Energy Management is not about building rigid structures for your life so that you can ‘optimize’ it, it’s to build a flexible container that can help you focus & prioritize tangible actions and intent towards the things that are important to you.

Structure, like the banks of a river, allows you to direct the flow of your energy.

At the foundation or core of us managing our time, it comes down to managing our Energy. As a practitioner, I look at how one is mindfully managing their Self Energy and also their Environmental Energy - without these two in balance, it’s really hard to really move forward even if we already have our sense of purpose or plan.
