Value Tattoo Exercise

A lot of people choose to get tattoos because they carry some value or meaning that serves as a poignant reminder or symbolism for the person getting it.

If you’re having a hard time articulating what’s valuable to you, try this exercise out.

First, think about your imaginary tattoo. If tattoos aren't your thing, then think of an imaginary art piece that goes into your home or space.

Now, grab a pen and paper out and start!

YOUR PROMPTS

  1. If you got a meaningful or symbolic tattoo, what would it be and why? (Feel free to write your answer out or even draw it out!)

  2. What do you think the underlying theme is for getting the tattoo (or piece of art)?

  3. Does this theme say something about what you value in life? If so, what?

  4. At what extent are you currently living in line with what you answered in the previous question?

  5. If necessary, which step, no matter how small, could you take to start living in better alignment with this?

Hope you made some discoveries about yourself after doing this exercise!
